Founded by 3 friends with a shared love of culture, good food and good drinks, calabash group exists to connect amazing people, places and products with a wider market.

We started this because something wasn’t making sense. As lovers of good food and drink, we could see that the traditions that we’d known, loved, and celebrated our entire lives weren’t being appreciated in the same way by the hospitality industry.

We decided to do something about it. We want the traditions of Africa and the African diaspora considered in their rightful place among the other great gastronomic traditions of the world. We want to champion the producers, the craftspeople, and the custodians of culture. Something this good needs to be shared!
